Will let Greg fill in what he would like to see in this topic.

I hope one of the things we can do for each other is spread important safety lessons we learn in each of our professions.....and maybe save a life....

Don't leave your pistol next to the toilet when dropping a Deuce and forget it when dispatched to a call! Not that I would know.....er....you get the point!

As the owner of a fire extinguisher company-PLEASE remember this. When ever you buy a fire extinguisher for your boat, always get one with metal handles,never-never buy one with black plastic handles-(Kiddie brand). The reason is any extinguisher with metal handles have a gauge that screws in.Plastic handle extinguisher have a bobbie pin that holds the guage in and or prone to leak, and have gauges that may read OK and are not reliable. Plus you can have a good one recharghed for about half the price of a new one.You can only use it 1 time, after it has been shot off,it will leak all the nitrogen out,and will NOT work any more. Also if you have never used one read the instruction on the front lable-Very important to stand back 6 to 8 feet-they have from 100 are 195LBS. of pressure in them. This will blow a gas fire everywhere if you are two close. Always hold them upright,as they all have a syphion tube inside to pick up the powder.
Hope this is helpfull
Danny
