Sherm passed Bass Boat Saver at the Mid-West Rally. I used it when I put my boat up for the winter. It really works great! Cleans & wax. QR

I thought Bass Boat Saver looked a little streaky to me.......I didn't really study it though.

I use Meguirs NXT wash, followed up with their new NXT wax...Excellant product that is now used on all vehicles at my house....It's even better than the Liquid Glass I used to use.

Yeah.......was reading about the new NXT wax yesterday; it does sound impressive. Was reading on the F150online Lightning board where a lot of the guys have switched from Zaino (which they all raved about) to NXT.I'll have to give it a try........we need to get Meguiar's as a sponsor.

Al, try it....Do you think I would put it on the Bullet if I had any doubts in it?? Trust me, it is way better than anything you are using now....One coat (no polish, just wash and wax) and I guarantee that you will not be able to sit anything on it....Lay a rag on the boat and it is going to slide off....Leaves a very slick finish.

Hmm.. Meguiars corporate and wholesale warehouse is a stones throw from my office. Maybe I'll drop in on them and make them a proposition.Been using that Protec stuff and not too impressed. Time for a change. _____________________________________ Proud BBC Member Since April 9, 2002

I use Meguiar's Gold Class..............Then use the Dupont teflon spray wax in between for touch ups IMHO Meguiar's is the best there is as unless you are buying body shop materials.........I have a wax called Enhancer......It's made by a Co. named Malco......excellent stuff....I used to use it exclusively when i had my detail shop........problem is that it was $75 per 32 oz. bottle!!!!!!!!!

I use finish first polish. It's awesome! You need to go to their website and read about it. Each layer builds on the other instead of wiping off like wax. It bonds to the surface of the boat and each layer. http://www.finishfirstpolish.com

OK, now here's what I have done for years, and it has always worked for me and done an outstanding job too!!Anyone ever heard of Pledge?? yep, I said pledge spray wax! but it needs to be the lemon pledge. After I wash and wipe the boat down, I take the can and hold it about 18" off the surface and make a light spray over the surface of the boat. I take a ckean rag/towel, and wipe it off and voila!!! a waxed surface that rivals any other, and it lasts too!! Plus, it is a heck of a lot cheaper too!! But, it actually works very well

I was waiting for someone to say Pledge..... John......Pledge is made for wood furniture; not fiberglass bassboats. It doesn't have UV protection and doesn't provide a good coat of protection like wax will. Plus, I would expect over time that it will turn white gelcoat yellow. Yeah, it will make it shine, but then so would motor oil or something else similar. Lea's going to kill you if she finds out that you're using Pledge on her Champion......
