looking from the stern of your boat it is stamped into the hull on the starboard(right) side ....under the rubrail

You have the LS series or Lightning Series, which is the higher end of the HS boats. Very nice. Apparently the LS and E series had slightly different hull designs, LS being a lil faster. The LS also came with all the bells and whistles that the E series did not such as, hydrolic shocks for the compartment lids as opposed to springs, along with lights in the compartments and a few other smaller things. Mine is a '96 and the dash is a little different. My uncle's is a '98 and his dash looks like your's.

thats what I get I had 59.9 on the GPS and we had 40 mph winds so I would say I can get 60 on good days ...just wanted to make sure I was in the ball park for this boat thanks Justin 1997 Hydra sports 175 1997 150 hp fast strike no jack plate 60.2 mph gps 5000-5100 rpm

i had the same boat 115 faststrike 6" plate and could see 57-58gps on most days, of course no water in livewell and just me you should have a few mph left.
