Hmmm, sounds like you almost have a cross between the LS and E. Unless when it was bought originally the owner opted out of those for some reason. Are there brackets for the gas shocks in the lockers?Kevin D Middletown, CT 1996 LS 185, Johnson 150

Hahahahah, sounds like something that would happen to me. Either way, its a great boat, with or without knowing who it really is. Sadly I just wrapped mine up for the year. Kevin D Middletown, CT 1996 LS 185, Johnson 150

i just fished last tourney sunday and pulled out a 4th and we plan to fish once more before she gets put away for winter I cant wait for April 1st to get back out before I am done this year and you are right it is a pretty amazing boat I wish they still made them. But I enjoy being the only HS in the club. I was thinking on re doing all the stickers for next season and doing a little bling to it 1997 Hydra sports 175 1997 150 hp fast strike no jack plate 60.2 mph gps 5000-5100 rpm

Congrats on the 4th place finish. It is kinda nice to have a boat that not everyone else has. Im sure if I really tried, I could keep it going all year, but even some of the brackish water here will get frozen over, otherwise I could fish for schoolie sized stripers. Thanks it was a tough fish some boats never had a limit and we were calling so we knew we was on to a pattern of some sort and just stuck with it .... our water is already down to 48 here and everything will be froze solid by Christmas. we sometimes still have ice in lakes in april when our season opens 1997 Hydra sports 175 1997 150 hp fast strike no jack plate 60.2 mph gps 5000-5100 rpm

We're not too far behind ya. The lakes will be frozen def. by Christmas. The rivers here may or may not freeze. I have seen the brackish stuff freeze before too

I just relocated from FL back to MA and sadly had to put the boat away a few weeks ago. This winter will be really tough.Kevin, do you have any info on the 175 FS? I may be an outcast as most of you guys have true bass boats but it least it's a HS.

If its a 96 I have it. Or my guess the 95,97 and 98 are probably pretty close. Welcome back to the northeast. May take me a couple of days to get it to you though. Kevin D Middletown, CT 1996 LS 185, Johnson 150

Cool, it is a 96. I bought it off an old couple while in FL and towed it up, it had been well cared for, 150 hrs on the meter. It was actually the wife's boat and it took me two days to get the Mama's Toy decals off the side. It has an Evenrude 150 and shows about 55 on the speedo pretty easily, haven't had a chance to gps yet. Actually was in Hartford last week for work, rained so hard you couldn't see past the windshield.

May take a day or two, but the catalog has all the 1996 bass and f/s boats in it, so I can get you what came on it, both standard and optional. Im only about 20 mins south of Hartford, if you come back, give me some heads up and if nothing else we'll grab an adult beverage or something. My LS185 tops out at about 60 speedo with a 150 Johnson, so youre in the ball park, give or take. Yeah the weather here lately has sucked a$$ Kevin D Middletown, CT 1996 LS 185, Johnson 150

Thanks Kevin,I'm glad I bumped into you. I have the basic HS manual that shows basic info but more for bass boats it seems. How the livewells are plumbed etc. This is cool. Makes sense the fish finder came on the boat and they bought a similar unit from Eagle and installed on the front. I also wondered about the bilge as it has an auto position but nothing to tell it to come on. This is great. Thanks again-Scott

Youre welcome. Yeah the HS manual isnt much of anything at all. The bilge plumbing and electrical are about the only things that specific to HS, everything else is common sense. Kevin D Middletown, CT 1996 LS 185, Johnson 150
