Mate is looking at importing a new 21' legend with a 300 pro xs to australia, what sort of speed do these things turn with tourny load, there are rumours of 90mph?

90-92 wow never thought a legend would go that fast unless it was strapped to the space shuttle,,

Got mine up to 95 this weekend with a 250 ProXS. That was behind the Expedition though. In reality you are looking at 77-82 depending on load, air temps, water, and elevation. Really light maybe another mph or two.

Thanks for that. I also find a given hull seems to run a little slower here in oz than over there.

If he has the money and wants the speed I would buy an Allison hands down. A guy outside of Richmond VA sells both Legend and Allison. I went and looked at a legend there last year before I got my boat. He was in the process of shipping and new Allison to a guy in South Africa. It was funny because the guy didn't want a trolling motor just river anchors. Apparently he wanted to be the fastest bottom fisherman in South Africa.

Legend isn't going to be the fastest hull, but sure is a comfortable boat to fish out of
