VA BENEFITS, Disability/Convalesant Pay Reply  Edit

In 2000 I was found disabled by Social Security 100% Unable to work again.
In 2005 I filed for disability through the VA for service connected.
Degenerative disc disease, lumbar spine 10% then raised to 20% in 2007.
Radiculopathy right lower extremity associated with degenerative disc disease, lumbar spine 10% .
Tinnitus associated with bilateral hearing loss 10% .
Over all they gave me a rating of 40%.
Recently in September th VA finally did my back surgery I have been needing for 19 years.
The doctor they sent me to said I have several places in my back that needs attention but chose only to fix the one with the worst symtoms at the time.
The doctor told me going in to this it might not work since it has been compressed for 19 years.
I am still going through physical therapy for 8 weeks 3x a week
I was told to file for convalesant 100% pay.
I have not heard a reply as of yet I filed September 14 2009.

Since I am 100% from SSD should I not be unemployable through the VA.

Sept 14, 2009 is not a long time for the VA to decide you're claim, less than 2 months, but you will get Convalescent Pay. Have you filed a unemployable claim??????
