I own a HS but have always loved the bass cat sence I first got into bass fishing ...they just look so clean and is a boat that catches my eye in hurry! Some day I told the wife before i die i want a Cat in the yard!! and I have heard they are able to be fast in rough water thats with I voted!

I think a Ranger vs Nitro vs Skeeter would be a good pollAs well as Champion vs Legend vs Procraft

The poll numbers will be skewed by the number of units people own. There's way more Triton's & Stratos boats on the water than BassCats because of their dealer networks. Would have been more of a fair poll to put Skeeter in there to even the numbers.

Cant speak of the others but the 09 Puma with 250 HO would make 82-83 on top. My buddies triton xhp with 250 pro xs will make 81. i know of a few of each of those 2 running over 80. Suprised my buddies with bullets and blazers how fast the big cat was. I havent got to drive an evo yet but would love to the triton and the cats both drive and ride good.

Doug, last December I drove my boat to 85,full fuel.Buddie jumps in and he drove it to 83 ,first time in the boat.Lots a folks witnessed it.A well set up Triton may run those numbers,but not the others mentioned.

Are we talkin the same length boat with the same HP , or the same HP on whatever boat its rated for ? Because I think Triton has a 19 ftr that rated for a 225 , and I dont think stratos does , and I know Bass Cat doesnt !!!!!!!!

I think that the "Big Dog" numbers are going to be with the 250 HP motors. That will leave out the shorter boats. I can not imagine any of the three running 80+ GPS with less than 250 HP. JMHO though.

There are a couple of Cats here that claim those numbers with the xs not pro xs mercs but i have not witnessed it myself. Mine made the 83 with a full 52 gallons fuel,all my junk(mini BPS) . Never ran it completely empty or low on fuel even. I could run that in 80 degree weather with a 27 tempest or 26 fury that were both stock. I have heard the evos were fast would love to get in one and play a few hours. Either way all 3 of these are running for cookie cutter heavy hull bass boats. My cat was over 1900 lbs dry hull weight so i was impressed.

oilte4ch over on the La boards has his 19x3 toon running 79 and change with a 225 pro xs it is possible. Pro xs skeeter over here as well has his 202 bug boat with 225 pro xs running 79ish as well.

I had a BassCat Sabre with EtecHO 150HP in the 18ft class that hit 70 mph on the GPS. Pics provided if need be. Flyswatter

I had my Baycat with a 250ProXs up to 75mph on the speedo. If I remember right, I was somewhere on I-59 on the way to Guntersville.

A Stratos 294 will run high 70's and some have touched 80 with a 200 when properly set up with a good driver.

I'd like to see proof of the 294 Stratos touching 80 with a 200hp. That would be awesome, not saying it can't happen.

Dont remember his name but he was from FL or LA. Heres his gps pic I posted for him.
*****You basscat owners have some quick boats too. I've ridden in a cougar with a 250 Yam that would tote the mail in a big way.

Yeah there was a you tube video of the pros running a skills course at Rend Lake posted on here last year. A Ranger won it, KVD's Nitro took second and a Procraft took third. Oh yeah the pro driving a Champ got thrown from the drivers seat Looked like a really good ride to me
