Give me some time Blair. I'm having some motor and gearcase issues.

Think we've got the motor straightened out (electronics) but i've got to get a nose cone on this CLE or get a sporty to run bigger numbers.

I've never bragged about MY topend, i can't run 113, don't have enough motor. I do have a killer holeshot, even with a 2.4L 200, and once everything is right, i will race any stroker from zero to whatever my top end may be (90's?). Any we'll see how long it takes the Stroker to catch me.

Video's to come once everything is straightened out.

-----------------

BTW, the only crap I have talked is about how slow the Strokers i've seen are out of the hole.

Allison holds the official bass boat speed record and has reported to have run well into the 120's.

And a Bullet has been 119.

I've poked fun with you guys, but what I've said has been truth. I'll quit poking since you are going to take it serious.

Poke all you want, brother !!!!!! Like I said, bring it. I really thought you must have some videos. You talk, but that's it. It does liven up the boards, no hard feelings, and I actually enjoy your posts you have shared. You have and do bring good information to us.

It's all fun, but alot of it isn't truth. Stroker is still the fastest true 21' bass boat. We have been making gains with the help of Mr. Chub, Kurt, and Wayne Worthy. As I've stated, the Bullet that ran 119 was no where near a fishing boat, and you KNOW THAT IS TRUE. It was set up to run a big number, ONLY. The Allison is the record holder, but some may argue that boat is not a true 21' fishing boat either.

We work hard to get the most out of our boats, and I know you acknowledge that. I felt a more balanced recent history of the top 3 was in order, in case some folks want to make an informative decision regarding a boat purchase.

Our boats do run mostly 1.62 gears which on some Strokers can slow down the hole shot with BIG PROPS. Many in tourney's run 28-30 and have great hole shot.

I appreciate you, Josh, please don't stop posting over here on my account. You are willing and able to join us, and I get the sense, that you REALLY WANT A STROKER........................love ya, man...........

Oh, one last thing...........you rarely see me on here "bragging" about any number I run. Others may do it for me. I just spend as much time as possible running and driving, trying to get better.

The poll was which was the fastest bass boat. Nothing about 20ft Vs. 21Ft or even the Allison which is about like a 17ft'er

What was in the boat when yours ran 118? Kurt ran that didn't he?

---------------

All I do is talk? It is a internet forum, what else would you like me to do?

I've only owned my boat for a very short time, and I don't own a video camera or a digital camera for that matter.

What more balanced top 3 history would you like?

I love you too Blair No hard feelings here. You've worked hard for the speeds in your boat, i've just begun with my boat and don't know that i'll ever set it up for top end.

I'll admit, i'd like to have a Stroker. I bought an Allison for what they do best, holeshot and accerlerate for the tiny lakes I fish on. If I had huge lakes I could ring one out on, no doubt i'd own a Stroker.

That's true, I've lost track of the thread and its original meaning.............

What I meant by talk, is just that. Thought you had some videos or numbers of your boat and setup. My mistake. It is an internet chat board and you are free to talk.........

Each of us like what we run and that is perfectly fine. Stroker is the fastest loaded true 21' fishing boat available, and I wanted to balance that out with all the Bullet and Allision stuff that gets thrown around. That is what I meant by balance. Alot of folks who come on this board don't know about the top 3 brands, and what they can and can't do.

Kurt ran 118.7 with light fuel, all the batteries, no troller and the stock boat setup. It didn't have only 1 battery, small fuel cell, ect.

You actually got me working on my hole shot, as well as my top end. The 32et so far is unreal, but I haven't run it with 2 people. The last thing I need to do is get another half dozen of small props to run.........but I might !!!

Hope to meet you at a rally this next year............

Thanks for the good nature attitude, Josh. Bless you and your lovely new fiance.

I am usually much more reserved, but I'm coming off a 2 day camping trip with the Boy Scouts, which is fun, but I never get any sleep...................

I don't really have a dog in this fight (kinda), but I would put my boat up against another FISHING boat in a quarter mile anytime.

To me, the video of Blair's hole shot is SLOW compared to what my boat was doing when I first started breaking in the motor.

Would I win the battle? Maybe maybe not. I can say that with a 3 blade 27 TXP on my rig it shoots out of the hole like a drag boat. There was no bow lift and no "spinning up" with it, and that was with all of my gear plus some stuff, livewell full, etc. It was also with the jackplate completely buried as far down as it would go. It would easily accelerate into the 80's without much trim input.

I'm not saying that I want to do it. I'm pretty much done with trying to get big numbers and faster speeds. I already know that in a fishing tournament, I'll pass many and will be passed by VERY few (if any).

1.75 gears would surprise a number of people as far as performance, especially with the 3 liter motor.

A slow boat is like taking a moped to work ....sure you gonna get there, but man does it suck!

I have been on a couple of josh's lakes and he does have a great boat for it!!! They are small and a holeshot win would get you to the brushpile you wanted before the competition. That being said its all in fun for everyone this round is on me

Hey Paul, you need to bring it on down to Florida and we'll run from Palatka to Lake George.

OH NO! Did I just challenge Paul to race?

It would be a fun one, and would compare setups pretty good. It's not like it's a "straight line" race where you just go for a high number. It would also compare handling, acceleration, etc. between the two boats and motors. It would be the most "realistic" test going down the river.

Sure most of us can hit 90+ when we are running straight and in decent water. The question is, how does the boat handle in "dirty" water from boat wakes? What about going around corners?

For me it's more realistic to be "on the gas" and "off the gas". The trim system also gets a workout when I'm running that area as does the jackplate.

All I'm saying is yes it's fun to be able to run at the top and put up a number. The question is, where is the "average" bass fisherman in the equation? When does that person see a benefit?

A slow boat is like taking a moped to work ....sure you gonna get there, but man does it suck!

LMAO... I love how all the "stipulations" come out on these threads. Long run vs short run, 21ft vs 20ft. loaded vs light, rough water and corners.
Come on boys! The thread is FASTEST BASSBOAT.....PERIOD! Everyone knows what the answer is. Some may not like it but its fact and until someone does something to change it it will STAY that way

Ok....Maybe a new thread should be started.

Which is the fastest boat crossing boat wakes carrying 5 cases of beer, 4 french hens two turtle doves and a spinnerbiat in a pear tree........ on a river
Stroker WINS!!!!!!!
