Ahhhh...cool!! You got one of the fast ones. Drives up on the pad..not like the rest of the boats. Word of caution...take your time and learn to drive slowly. It will chine walk real crazy like if the previous owner did not have it set up right. BUT, you have an awesome fast boat there. Give us some details on the rig. Craig

I posted more pics in this threadhttp://bbcboards.zeroforum.com...50594 It has a merc 150 with a high 5 prop. Extended jack plate. Hummingbird GPS ff on the dash but I need to get another deck mount as he said it wasn't working right. Maybe it is a transducer issue but i think I'll get a color eagle anyway. All pumps work fine. Trolling motor, livewell pumps, bilge pump, FF were all upgraded last year as well as a keel guard. All cylinders showed 150 - 155 PSI. I think I got an awesome deal on the boat and can't wait to take it out. I will be fishing mostly Greenwood and Hopatcong lakes in NJ if anyone wants to hook up. Dave

I like to fish both Greenwood and Hopatcong and a bunch of other lakes in NJ an NY since PA has just about nothing. LOL In the spring I'll shout out to ya when I head over. really nice looking rig. You gonna like it. 150 compression seems high...are you sure? did the former owner do any mods do you know?

Pa has some awesome lakes to offer. If you get out towards Wilkes-Barre there is Lily Lake and Sylvan that have excellent bass fishing (Lily is better for big fish)I live in the Poconos and fish many private community lakes. They are great low pressure lakes. Many times out, I am the only boat out there. The Pak has some Tuesday night tourneys (team) that I may get into just for practice. Dave

It has a few docks, a shallow end and some deep water up to 60' or so. I fished it a few times. Crappy fishermen love this lake as it holds dinnerplate sized bluegill. I have caught numbers but little quality fish. Heavy pickerel population.

Thanks guys!Took it out yesterday. I had it trimmed a bit up and gave it some gas and stood it almost straight up...Ugh... Trimmed all the way down, got on plane and trimmed up. I was the only boat on Wallenpaupac with my buddy in the boat with me. It was cold and the GPS wasn't working (found the antenna wire was unplugged after I got home, working now) Ripped around a bit, played with the trolling motor and had a blast. I definately have a fast boat. What a pleasure to drive. I need more time before opening it up. Can't wait until tournament season. Dave

Hey Dave,I though you were buying a Champion ??? What happened man. Just kidding, looks like one nice rig. I see you have been chattin with Craig. I work for him part time, and is a really good friend of mine. He owned an Astro (which is basically a Procraft) that I admired for years. I always wanted a boat like his Astro. Neat thing is, he knew the guy selling the Champion I now own. He has helped me (newbie to bass boats) with a lot of things with my Champion. If there is ever a question about your Procraft or Merc Engine - he will be more than helpful. Maybe we can all get together in the spring sometime. My boat is being winterized as I speak; It will be in Craig's warehouse at 3:30 today. Four long months till spring . Winter Sucks !!! Take care - enjoy your rig before the water gets hard. Dave

No, I bought mine last October (2008) from a friend of a friend of Craig's. I have a 150 HP Evinrude Intruder on my 19 footer. It's rated for a 200, however, I'm pretty happy and very satisfied with the way my evinrude runs. I had no major problems with it this year. Replaced the voltage regulator during the winter, and replaced tilt/trim relays early in the spring. Starts right up ever time, and runs great. 60 mph is plenty fast for me as I still am in the process of learning. Where was the Champ you were looking at ?? I just don't see too many around these parts.

I opened it up today and the fastest I was able to go was 54 on the gps. I think I need to trim out a bit more. I had no rooster tail at all. I'm going out in the morning solo. I'll try out some different things to bring my speed up.Any tips will help. Dave

Help everyone out here and post some more data. Take a propshaft to pad measurement, get RPM's WOT and approx trim angle, jackplate set back manual or hydraulic etc.. You are using GPS and that is good.
