Anyone tried a stiletto prop on an xpress, I have an H51 90 yam that came with a 17 pwertech which I hated added a 6" jackplate and a laser 2 20 pitch and it did away with most porpoising and picked up about 4mph but rpms dropped lower, was thinking of trying 19 stiletto prop and was wondering what you guys think about the stiletto props and if anyone had tried one?

I am running a turbo 1 3blade 17'' pitch with a 10'' plate on my H51 with a 90 and love it. Precision propeller is the parent company of stiletto and turbo,whitch in turn is owned by Yamaha. The turbo is a little better prop of the 2 in my opinion.The 10'' plate will give you 2 mph over the 6'' plate,or at least it did on my boat,and i have never had a problem with porpoising like a lot of guys have had.
