I use the Plano 4700 two tier stoaway. I put the hooks on top and the weights on bottom. It works great, but can get fairly heavy.

I use a black marker to mark the weights of jig heads in each compartment.

Hooks I take the Gammy paper out of the hook pack and throw it in the compartment with each respective hook.....Not the fanciest but works.

Most important is that weights and jig heads be clearly identified.

I have two of these:

Each slot is labeled so you know what goes there and can tell when something is missing or you are low. Bass Pro Shops sells them.

Here's how I do mine:

The Mobile Tackle Warehouse

Hook Box

Sinkers & Stuff Also contains things like toothpicks, spinnerbait blades, beads, swivels, etc.

Jigheads This box has everything from 3/16 oz shakey heads to 1 oz football heads.

I keep regular skirted jigs in their own box along with various colors of Berkley Powerbait Chigger Craws. Then there are two other boxes with swimjigs, chatterbaits, and finesse jigs and another with various jig trailers. I guess it's easy to surmise that I fish jigs a lot.

for my weights i use old 35mm film canisters. i use a sharpie and write what size they are on the outside. works very nice. although it would be hard to save up all of those canisters especially in the digital age. my wife used to work for a large photo company and i managed to get a very large bag full. as far as my hooks, i mostly leave them in the pack they come in.

We use these at my work. Would have to measure different sizes and different Plano boxes. I am sure you could find one that would work.

I have started using prescription bottles for all my single hooks, weights, swivels, and rattles and use a small plano box for extra treble hooks, split rings, and snaps.

I use the same FTO 501. I took a Sharpie with a good point and traced the print in the bottom of each compartment so it's easily visible and like stated earlier it helps with quick inventory. I also use the the 502 box for smaller items.

I use the bags instead of the jars. You can pack multiple sizes of same hook in same bin.

I just use Plano 3700. The bottles seem like they would be a pain...

I ended up getting a real deep Plano box and it holds hooks in their original bags. I think it was designed for hobbies or something and I got it at Meijer (grocery/general store). It's not as pretty as all those jars but it keeps them organized by size.
Those jars might be the ticket for drop shot weights though.
