I know I'm not in the century club yet, but I broke the 80mph mark today on the first time to have the Stroker out. I think the tach was around 5400......but that was with a 30 Raker. 2002 Stroker w/ 250 Rude (the 250 Rude is for sale)

I'm not in the "Century Club"... yet, but one thing I did notice today that was WAY different. I use to "cruise" at around 5000 with my old Pro Max, and that was usually around 60 or so.Today while cruising around 4500 or so, I was over 70. You need to jump into my boat and either go for a ride or drive it yourself Noland.
A slow boat is like taking a moped to work ....sure you gonna get there, but man does it suck!

With two people loaded to fish with a 30" 4 blade B/C Performer 5000+ RPM's with 1 person and a speed prop ???? I'm then only looking what the tach's doing around 100 and better and then it's more like 5850 to 6000+

Guess I should have clarified better. I know between 4000 and 4500 I'm running 60-65. I was just thinking with boats runing 100 to 110, or even 118. That 4500 rpm is still really hauling azz. Just curious.Trashy, I'll take you up on that when you get back Noland "Slower than a speeding Bullet, but faster than a Cookie Cutter."
