Recessed trolling motor pedal? Reply  Edit

Does Xpress offer a recessed trolling motor pedal as an option? If not, any comments on how difficult this would be with an aftermarket kit?

Thanks,

I havn't done it yet, but I am planning on installing one in my x19 this winter. The problem I forsee is the support ribs that go across the deck.

I wish Xpress would have them factory installed. The one i put in my boat took about 2 hours to install with my wifes help. i did have to cut through the brace but screwed the trey down real good and my front deck is still solid. [ ]

I've got one for sale that we did not use, it's still in the box. We went with the MK Tm with auto polit, love it.

Which aftermarket tray did you use? Is it the plastic one? Just makes me nervous cutting through the cross-bracing.
