 Motor information Reply  Edit

I just bought my first boat, a 20' ProCraft Superpro with a Mercury 225 HP motor. The motor has a custom paint job, so it does not have any model information that is outwardly visible. I have located the motor serial #. Does anybody know where I can locate information such as the motor's Model # and year? I also want to find some type of manual for servicing / maintaining the motor. Where is the best place to get a service manual? I don't plan on doing much of the repair work myself, but I don't want any expensive repair bills because I didn't keep up on maintenance.
Thanks
Mark

Welcome to the BBC Markusa, if you'll repost your question to Don Weed aka EuropeanAM down on the Mercury Motor Board, He'll be more than to help you and after you get your answer, go see the boys on the Procraft Board too.
