I am a Sergeant Major with 29 years of service and just returned from Iraq, two month after returning my son who is a officer deployed to Iraq.

Are you both 10th MTN??? What was your MOS/Branch???

Welcome home Sergeant Major, kick your boots off and relax a while.

God bless the boys! My son's an officer in the Navy, just got back from a 7 month deployment in April, now leaves for a one year IA tour in Iraq this January. At this rate he and his wife will never make me a grandbaby, darnit!

Thanks everybody for your kind remarks and yes it sure is great to be back HOME (USA)!!! Can't help worrying about my son and all our soldiers over there.
