Not really, I can handle the heat most days. We don't night fish much, I can't see as good at night for some reason(maybe I'm getting older).Oddly enough, this past year in particular the fish bit better in the absolute heat of the day.. It was styfulling sometimes, but the bite was good, so you just keep at it.

YES!! Sometimes in late July and August, you go before sun up and get off the water by 10AM. Other times you go at night and then the hummidity and skeetas get after ya. If the fishies are biten' then I seem to be able to stand alot more heat and humidity and adverse weather conditions!! I will have to say that this past spring, summer, and this fall have been very nice as compared to past years.

I fish almost always at night from mid June through Sept. You wouldnt believe the last trip I had back in Sept. Its a whole different world, around the full moon only.During the dark moon for some reason i dont do as good plus harder to see without any moon at all.

Yep. I take the 2nd half of July and all of August off. I usually start back the weekend after Labor Day.

Although we're not that far south, we do get some very hot weeks in summer. I try to get on water at safe light and off by 11AM. My vision is not that good at night, so do not fish then.

I fished in TN back in June of 2001 and it was 107 degrees. You can keep it.

It can definitely get scorching hot down here but there are some big fish to be caught in the middle of the day.Give me 100 degrees, no wind, a little current, and a deep diving crankbait all day long!!!!
