Actually GMC PU but I voted under Chevy. I also have an '89 Ford dually with my camper on it but it is a POS. Only has 68,000 miles and have had nothing but trouble with it. My wife talked me into it cause she wanted a newer truck than our '73 Chevy. One time I should've told her no. I was always a die hard Ford guy. I drove a 57 Ford in high school when everybody else had 57 Chevy's. Later in life, I sold Fords for a living and have owned more of them than I can remember. However, last year when I needed a new pickup to tow my boat I chose a Silverado. I compared everything…gas mileage, bells & whistles, interior, and price and went with the Chevy.

Same here! I've always been a chevy loyalist, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy the blue oval. I think both offer great trucks.

It says Ford "did not" take bail out money and it's dated Nov 09. http://blog.caranddriver.com/f...ofit/ The DOE loans are more of an investment in fuel efficient vehicles. I think you loan money to viable companies and bail out the ones who are not viable.
