I have a 2005 Tr-20x with 225 HO DI with a 6 inch detwiler hydraulic jackplate and was wanting to know if it would be worth the money performance wise to add the 4" setback extension plate to the detwiler?2005 Tr-20X 225 Ho Evinrude
Most guys see a 1-2mph difference between a 6" and 8", along with decreased chine walk. I know the newer hulls are warrantied with a 10", but I think in 05' the transom was only warrantied up to an 8" plate. You may want to check on that first.
I cant find anywhere in the hull warranty that it says anything about jackplate sizes that void warranty on the hull. Could someone who knows this question please answer. Does a certain size jackplate void warranty on 2005 Triton tr-20x bass boats?2005 Tr-20X 225 Ho Evinrude
