I'M running a CMC 6inch jack plate now and thinking of goint to a 10 inch. Any pros or cons to this venture? Can I gain any top end speed or would the cost outweigh the amount I would gain, If any. I know I'll have to go to longer steering cables at a cost of 300.00+tax and shop fees. Thanks. BASNBILL

You need to tell us about your boat. 10" can be to much for some boats.

really depends on your Hull!!! I would look at hydraulic too instead of putting that much into cables
