I have seen some chatter on one of the redfish sites that Stroker is working on a saltwater rig. Can anyone verify? Pics? Tks.

Mr. Chub Bryant has designed and made the mold for this Redfish/Saltwater boat himself. It will be quite astounding and of course coming from Stroker it will be built strong and fast. It has, IMO some great features for the saltwater fishermen. Jr. and I had the pleasure of seeing the project near completion. If I were thinking of purchasing a rig of this sort soon I would most definitely wait a bit on this beast.....Jerry Sloan

Diversification is usually good for business, and I strongly support Chub growing his business. But without adding resources (ouch) to deliver both bass and bay boats, it will likely impact delivery time and there will probably be other various types of growing pains. The reason I bring this up is cuz I recently inquired about getting a new Stroker and I was surprised by the number of months I would need to wait to take delivery. I'm not in a rush, and the product is well worth waiting for, but this will be something to watch and keep in mind as Chub moves forward with this. New, prospective Stroker owners may not be accustomed to this kind of wait though, not sure.

I think we've had a hand in helping build momentum via BBC, bringing new interest and potentially increased future business to Stroker Boats. I expect Chub will see the benefits when the economy comes back. However, there is obviously some risk in this new venture, especially in these unprecedented times. Wiley ole' Chub knows this though and I expect he'll do fine.

I wish Chub the best in this new endeavor!

One of the reasons the Stroker's quality is so high is that only 3 sets of experienced hands ever touch the boat during manufacture. The more hands you have building a boat, the more potential for mistakes. Chub doesn't want to be the biggest, only the best. I doubt he will change that formula.

I waited 8 months for mine, but it was worth is. I may get another some day if he will build an all kevlar light weight one for the open market.

The mold isn't even made yet. It may be a while. But it does have some real interesting design features.

Im considering selling the Allison and getting a Grady White as I live on the Chesapeake Bay. Do you guys know if this new Stroker will resemble a bay boat?

I hear around April from a redfish guy who has one ordered.
What is the latest on this "Area 51" boat?
Or should I order the Yellowfin 20 rated for 350?
