You'll probably get a more knowledgeable answer on the BC board but I'd be looking at a 24 Tempest and a set of trim extenders.

That Cougar is a 20 ft boat , but Id bet a 24 Temp plus would be a good match with that boat and motor combo !!!!!!!!!!! What kinda prop are you runnin and what RPM and speed are you gettin out of it ?

i have a 99cougar w 200efi 2.5l im running a 25p tempest+ at 5900wot 67gps TX load with 2 people, also have a 25ptrophy+ but prefer the top end of the 3 blade

hey gun i am running a 25p 4 blade the name i dont know the guy i got the boat from had the prop on it it's a nice prop but i just would like the best for it @ 5900 i am hiting 67 wot gps  lightfoot

Dude thats not bad numbers for a 20 ft boat and a 200 . But I think you could gain a lil more speed with a 3 blade , but not a bunch maybe just a few mph ( Im just guessing , I also have a Cougar but with a 225 Evinrude ) . Those EFIs make good HP at 6 grand and I bet a 25 Temp or a 24 Fury would be a good match on that rig . If you post your numbers on the bass cat forum I bet youd get alot more response !
