I agree with bentrod! Never clean a coffee pot.. All I do is rinse, wipe and go. Soap never touches the inside of my pot.. Derrick 2000 Charger 295TF w/ V-Max200

no soap ever......use magik eraser takes off the scungees and keeps ma happy and the coffee tasting good.

I put my coffee pot in the dishwasher. It comes out like new everytime.

for the nasty ones that have been scorched all night.....I take a hand full of change (pennies, nickels, dimes) and put in the pot.....add 2 or so inches of water and start swirling it around. Clean in no time, plus you get money laundering at the same time

I use baking soda, a little water and a sponge and wipe it out by hand. You guys that don't wash your coffee pots are probably the same guys under the misconception that coffee tastes better in a dirty coffee mug too.
