 Lift my bow... Reply  Edit

I would`ve posted this in the prop section, but I figured I could get a better answer from the Viper Gurus.
I have a 27p Tempest on my Cobra, but I would like to have another prop to run in rough water. I have heard this isn`t easy to do, but I would like some more bow lift. I`ve had it in three foot waves with no problems, but it`s getting very close to stabbing a wave. It`s making me a little nervous. Thoughts?

You may want to try a 26 Bravo 1 and have Mark Croxton work it for your setup. It gives a lot of lift to both the bow and the stern and handles better then a three blade.

No other prop will lift the bow like a 25 - 26 TXP-ot4. Trust me! Might not be the fastest, but you will have 0 steering torque at WOT and you can easily over trim. I have run them all.

Thanks guys. I will look into those. I`m not looking for speed, just keeping the nose above water.

I agree with the other guys, but i would also look into a 12" Jackplate.
This really helped me. Just my 2 cents.
