I need help on sizing the prop i need. Reply  Edit

'92 champion 201. the prop on it right now is way too small. I think its a 22??? maybe. but as soon as the prop gets out of the water and puts the boat on the pad, it goes up to 5900 rpm, sometimes 6 and actually dont gain sped. Any help on tellin me what prop would be best woud be SO MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks guys.

You are a little light on details, which would help figure out what you've got and what you need to do.

Jackplate, yes or no and if so what size?
Current motor height?
Current prop, what is it?

Current WFO results, what exactly is your rpms, speed, lift, etc at full speed/trim?

We'll get you as good as you can, but that's a lot of boat for a little bit of motor.

150 typically will run a 23 p. i would probaly try a 23p tempest plus or a 23p trophy 4 blade
