 Holeshot Plates Reply  Edit

I have a Skeeter ZX190 with a 10" Slidemaster. I have been looking at a Holeshot Plate that attaches under the jack plate. Does anyone have any experiences with these? I don't here to much about them but it seems like free HP. ($40) It's a simple bolt-on application. I also am familiar with the phrase "If it seems to good to be true, it probably is" I know the advantages. Is there anything else I should know? Thanks

A Skeeter owner lives to fish.
The need to compete is in our blood.
With every sunrise comes the exhilaration of the blast-off and that first run of the day. With every cast comes the promise of filling our limit. The reward is realized only when that five-pound kicker is tucked safely away in the livewell. Our competition is not with our fellow anglers, it's with the water. We live to fish.

Not exactly a cure for cancer, but they don't hurt anything either.

May help you out of the hole a bit. May also help keep water from coming over the stern if you slow down too fast from a high speed run. Just my .02

I think they are worth it if you make your own, but $40 not sure.
