Todd,
I thought I had my ASX dialed in, but the front starts hopping on me around 78 mph. I can not drive thru it, i have to come off the throttle and then get back into it. I have changed props and that didnt help it much. I first noticed it when I changed props to the ASX prop. I put my other 28 raker II prop back on it and it still does it.. but not as bad. Do you think that the added wieght of new tackle in the front of the boat could have caused this? or maybe putting bigger trolling motor batteries in it thru off the balance of the boat? I'm grasping at straws here, but I was just wondering if you have experienced this and had any suggestions?

I've only seen one other do that.....and it was mine. 250 XS Opti with a Sportmaster. I pulled my hair out trying to figure why I had a 89 mph porpoise.

After all was said and done.....the stringers had separated from the bottom of the boat. Stratos crushed that one. All had a porpoise between 55-65......but if you're way up there in speed you need to have it looked at professionally.

dang, that sucks. I wonder if they will make this one good if it is the same issue? Did they give you another hull?

They just bought it back.....took it off my floor plan and crushed it. I had 2 or 3 after that with no issues.

If there is a roll toward the back of the pad and on the outer steps, the boat will hop. Seen that too!
