I find it unlikely the under side of the lid carpet has worn out as well as the carpet inside the lockers. Why go to all the trouble to change that? Unless of course your changing colors totaly.

It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I've actually rather enjoyed it. Plus, I've got nothing but time... it either rains, snows, or sleets every other day so what better to do but work on a boat.... I do have one question. The little piece of aluminum trim that goes around the edge of the carpet on Cobra boats.. Where would one go about getting some of that? I can't find it anywhere. With the carpet running up on the sides of the boat like it is I'll have to put some type of trim back up there to cover up all the drilled out pop-rivet holes.

Call Dean's Top & Canvas in Mountain Home, Ar. for your aluminum carpet edging as well as your lid/hatch moldings if you need any. 870-425-6189...ask for Tanya.
I thought I would be on easy street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!

I got the 20oz. carpet from The Boat Seat Store....same place I ordered my seats so it just made sense to get the carpet there as well since shipping was free. IMO, it's really good carpet. http://www.boatingseats.com/Al...l.asp
