I have a 6" on mine now, but will soon be going to 8

trcm do you know of anyone with an 8in.? Can you still use your factory cables?

The Z7 will not accept a plate with the factory steering cables. You'll need hyd steering.

I learned this the hard way on an 09.

thanks Todd, my 2010 was ordered with hydraulic steering. Do you know if an 8" plate will work?

I think Todd has an 8" on his demo Z-7

Yup....it had an 8" Atlas Hyd......the boat is ready to sell now and we put the factory 6" back on it. The Hyd plate ran the price up too much.

Thanks alot Todd. Did the 8"jackplate perform different than the 6"? I have been told to put a 10" on it but it seems like alot to me- however i would rather do what a dealer like yourself reccomends. It will be going on a 2010 Z7 with a 200pro xs. I cant find anybody that has actually ran this combo on the new hull? Its driving me crazy. Thanks again for your input and help!
