Interested to hear different opinions on a few different products.
Hydrofoils? In different catalogs they advertise these things like crazy and say they add a ton of performance. Do these actually add some mph?
Do skeg guards actually improve performance, or a protector for guys that run into stumps alot?
And finally, performance reeds. I run a 1990 175 GT and was wondering about aftermarket parts that can add performance.

Foil = ZERO speed increase. Its OUT of the water when running on plane. CAN help bow rise on hole-shot.

Skeg guards help handeling only if you have knocked a big chunk out of the existing skeg.

Reeds, can help a litle bit overall. Not always noticable though
