WATER TEMP > PLEASE HELP??? Reply  Edit

Guys -

I have 2 lcx-28's netowrked together, and included is my water temp.
I had it at take off yesterday and then lost it altogether. it doesnt even show up oon my screen. i went into "overlay data" and it is listed, and when i go to move it, it shows 32 degrees, then when I get out of that screen and go back to the normal operating screen, It's gone. It doesnt show up on the main unit or the front unit. Is there a way to see if it's working, etc...

Make sure you've selected the temp from the NMEA 2000 network menu, not the std menu on your unit.

Go to overlay data, delete the water temp display. The go to "press Enter to Add" and go to NMEA 2000. Select EP 80 or EP 35 (depends on which your boat has installed) and open it, then select temp. That should fix it.

Do as John from Jet A says and you'll be good to go.
