My HDS-8 Ram installation...... To keep your cables from flopping around everywhere while on the road you guys might try one of these "Cable Clamps" This fits real snug around your ram mount and holds the cable tight in place. They cost less than $2 at your local hardware store.....
I ordered it through Ranger. They actually have a plate that they curve out the bottom to fit the Zboats but I had already drilled my holes in the flattest place I could find so the curved out plate wouldn't work. I called Ranger and they made me one that is just flat on both sides about 1/2 to 5/8 thick. I did a few very slight modifications and cut out the cable channel and it worked out fine..... Oh yea, I have the curved out plate that I had ordered from Jet-A-Marine if anybody needs one....
