Need new batteries for my trolling motor, Wal-mart, or stowaway from academy sports. Or do you have any there suggestions?

walmart batteries are the absolute worst I've ever used. Cheap, won't last a year if you fish a lot.

I use Diehard deep cycle from Sears and Diehard cranking. Always worked well for me. If you want a great battery, use the blue top Optima Deep Cycle. But you will have to bring your check book, very pricey.

I have used Walmart batts in the boat and all 3 vehicles without problems. My last pair lasted 7 years in the truck (twin deep cycle batts) and the boat got 3 years.

do the research there is only a handful of manufacturers, and the only diff is the sticker.
I used W-M batteries in BassTracker Bantam II, my 1st boat bought it with the $$$ I saved from summer job @ 15.
