he speaks the truth, you usually have to back in farther to launch, less to load . use the amount of bunk out of the water to judge it, usually about 6 to 10 inches of the front of the inner ( deeper) bunks is a good starting point. just have somebody back the trailer in and you will be able to adjust how far to back in pretty quickly.......and dont forget to trim up the engine and power pole.............

If the lake is way down it probably changed the relationship between the truck, trailer and boat. You just have to back the trailer until you get the right angle. You may not be able to get the right angle with the water way down, you may have to throttle way up to get the front of the boat up, you may not be able to get it no matter what you do there. You may need to change hitch height.

When I've had this happen on a steep ramp, I let it come to rest on the bunks and start to trim the motor up under a little power until the bow rises over the roller - then throttle it up to the bow hook. It works for me.

I suspect the change from the bronco to the suburban would have been the main reason for your situation. More than likely, the height of your trailer tongue has changed from what you were used to. Seriously doubt the TM change would be involved. As others have said, do not back the trailer in as far as you used to.
